Tonight we had a family activity. We watched the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus 3-D "Best Of Both Worlds" Concert on the Disney Channel on TV. Cousin Yim had earlier passed to us three pairs of 3-D glasses for this event.
The evening started well. My three sons plus Dad waited excitedly for the show, with their 3-D glasses in hand, plenty of Pringles, Twisties and other tidbits ready to be consumed. The lights in the living room were suitably dimmed. Then Ta-Da! Hannah pranced onto the 42-inch plasma in her blonde wig, amidst screams from mainly 8-10-year-old girls in the audience. She is good, I like her. To Hannah's credit, she did manage to hold my three sons enthralled .... all but 12 minutes?
Haha, this is not surprising, really. After the novelty of watching the 3-D effects has worn off, the real attraction of the night took centrestage. You guessed it. It's all those tidbits lying on the table. For occasions like this, Mom usually relaxes her stance on snacking and my three sons know it. They now had a legitimate reason to stuff themselves silly.
Oh well, Mom did manage to shoot some photos for posterity's sake. And Son No 1 wiki-ed on stereoscopy to learn more about 3-D effects. Not all is lost.

after all the hassle,they were onli captivated by hannah montana for a mere 12 mins??but maybe they are boys thats y..
well,i was quite excited to watch it actually but was bit dissapointed by it..it was quite short and the screaming kinda overpowered her voice.and there was too little songs by the jonas brothers!!*currently liking the jonas brothers*
i did like miley cyrus a.k.a hannah montana but did you know that she has racy pics of her posted on the internet??i scared that she will become like the rest of the celebrities after she is famous whicj is not good because she is such a big influence on young kids like grace.
anyway,her songs are quite nice..have you listened to her songs before?

I did not see those pics but read about them. The photographer is very well-known and has taken photos of many celebreties, so it's unfortunate.
Jonas Brothers having a concert on TV soon, yeah? Thought I saw the trailer when the children were watching TV and I was doing something else (as usual)...
her voice is very grown up for a fifteen year old.there is this song which was sung by her and here dad called "baby get ready,get set but dont go"which is quite nice..
but now she might be over shadowed by other disney channel stars..i guess disney is not very happy 'bout the articles.there is 2 new stars-Demi Lovato(starred in camp rock which is not shown here yet)she is currently on tour with the jonas brothers..its a bit too fast i think,cos before the disney movie she was virtually unknown and now she is touring?anyway,her voice is not bad,something like miley cyrus i think.and also 15 years old.. :)
the other one is Selena Gomez which stars in wizards of waverly places(ask your kids if u are not familiar with this show..lol!)
now the media is callin her the next hannah montana..
bout the jonas brothers,they are starring in a disney channel movie called "camp rock" which they hope will be the next high school musical, so there will be a lot of publicity.they wont have a concert soon but they have this short 5 mins series called living the dream which shows their touring lives.currently they are the next big thing... :)
No, I have not heard of those two stars you mentioned. Guess I must work harder at keeping up!
